Introduction to the evolution of penguins
In the past, penguins evolved over the earth for millions of years. Many people were and are still wondering what penguins would be like in the next 200,000 years or so. We may or may not be correct about the future of the penguins, but here are predictions and facts about penguins.
Facts about penguins
OVERALL SUMMARY
Penguins have been around and have evolved in many ways. One interesting thing about penguins are that they de-evolved the ability to fly. The penguins descended from a type of bird that could fly, but adapted to swim in water and on land. They started standing upright so that they could walk on land better. Overall, the evolution of penguins becoming flightless was very slow. Penguins sacrificed their own ability to fly to become more efficient on land and water, but only a group of penguins can fly today.
LIFE OF PENGUINS
Penguins are aquatic , flightless birds that highly adapt to the water . Also, they eat krill, fish, and squid. Penguins usually live in the Southern Hemisphere. Penguins have a torpedo shaped body. Also, the king penguins have blushes of orange and yellow marks on their necks to tell you that they are the king. They work together to stay warm during the harsh, cool weather and wind chills by huddling together. Emperor penguins can glide through the water with great speed and ease. They could also stay underwater for as long as 20 minutes. Even though they evolved slowly, they have just enough to survive....or are they?.........

More Evolution?!
Due to global warming and other challenges, penguins have to evolve even more. Some of the changes that we expect is that the spine will elongate and the penguin will develop gills. Find out more in the following paragraph.
