The vampire bat is the only mammal that can fly, and the only animal to live purely on blood. They live in certain areas in Central and South America. Vampire bats sleep in complete darkness in caves and feed on the blood of livestock. They are only harmed by their loss of habitat and the chemicals used by farmers to kill the bats.

- Larger Teeth- As the Americas move up near the North Pole, the livestock will get more fur because of the colder climate, so then the vampire bat will need to get larger teeth in order to get blood easier
- More Fur- Due to continental shift upwards, the bats will need to adapt to the colder climate
- Lighter Bones and Areodynamic- Makes landing and fleeing from predators easier
- Active during the Day- The temperature up north is colder at night than at day
- Gliding and Floating in Water- The bats must be able to travel long distance in water because global warming increases seal level, so they now able to travel a lot of the large bodies of water
