Global WarmingGlobal warming is the Earth heating up from pollution and ozone gasses. Many animals are affected from the heat and salt from global warming. As the ice burgs (freshwater) melt in the oceans (saltwater), the salt percent is going down every second. Oceans have been rising every year, but these recent years have been the worst. Oceans rise from the melting of icebergs. In the past 100 years, the ocean have risen by 13%. We have lost 5000 tons of ice in 20 years. The rising of the oceans because of large amounts of ice loss. If not treated, the ocean will rise 1.2 meters by 2100.

Polar Bear BackPolar Bears mainly feed on ringed/bearded seals (also harp and hooded seals). They also scavenge on the carcasses of Beluga whales, walruses, narwhals, and bow headed whales. In the beginning, polar bears started as brown bears living in the Arctic. They have thick fur coats to keep them from freezing. When they move, they move slowly to conserve energy. The bear has thick curved claws to keep traction and to catch and hold prey.
The Future of Polar BearsIn the next 200000 years we predict that the polar bear will have fish like adaptations. Gills would be a big part because since the oceans are rising, it could now live in the water since all the icebergs are melting. Next would be the probability of having webbed fingers to help swim in water because of no more land.
