Our animal is the Penguin. Penguins, like many other birds have wings. The difference between them and most birds is they don’t fly. Penguins haven’t flown in over 1,000 years. Scientist believe that penguins lost the ability to fly because of better adaptation to swimming. If a penguin could fly it wouldn’t be able to swim as fast or as deep. Benefit of being able to fly is penguins could escape from predators and escape to different areas. Also, if the ice melts then the penguins can fly away.

Our animal, a penguin, will change a lot in the next 200,000 years. We believe that our animal, the penguin, will have a bigger beak that will be helpful for them, because they can get food easier. They will also have a bigger wings if they do they should be able to fly. This will allow them to escape predators easier. Also, move to different icebergs quicker. They will also be bigger in size. If they have bigger size less animals will go after them.
